Proposed WWI memorial in Washington, D.C. moves ahead, despite questions about its design

Representatives from the nonprofit èƵ (TCLF) and a retired high-ranking landscape architect with the National Park Service joined the federal panelists in questioning aspects of the design, which calls for the memorial to be added to a 1981 park by the noted landscape architect . Friedberg, via an email message shared with the commission, expressed disappointment with the proposal.
